Jackie has been with the Praise Hymn Band for 5 years that the group has been together. She enjoys the genre of music that is performed and she feels "such a sense of peace and connection to God".

When she isn't singing with the Praise Hymn Band, you can find her working hard at the Oak Harbor Middle School where she is the Building Secretary. From time to time you may even find her playing her trumpet with various other groups at Terra State Community College.
She also has 2 wonderful grandchildren that she absolutely adores and she enjoys spending time with them whenever she can.
In her spare time, you will find her volunteering at Riverview's gift shop as part of the Riverview Nursing Home Auxiliary where she is a life member. She also provides baked goods when needed for the Auxiliary
Karla is an Independent Provider for Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities. She feels very blessed to have these "special" people in her life for over 30 years.
Karla is a widow, and has four grown sons, two grandsons, and one very spoiled granddaughter!
Dave has an awesome low booming bass singing voice! He adds so much to this group and we are so glad to have him!
When he's not singing with the praise hymn band he has his own DJ business which keeps him very busy throughout the week and weekends..
Kathy, a retired general music teacher from Port Clinton City schools, enjoys being creative.
This shows in everything that she does including the beautiful handcrafted quilts she makes.
Her other interests include making music, crafting (of any kind!) and golfing which all keeps her busy.
"My truest passion", she said, "is spreading God's word through music with the 'Praise Hymn' Band!"
Rick never sang publicly until he was in his late 20's where he landed the role of Cornelius Hackle in Port Clinton Play Makers Civic Theater's rendition of Hello Dolly. Since that experience, he finds there is nothing like sharing his musical, ("and sometimes not so musical", he jokes!), talents with others.

Paul is one of our male tenor voices but is also an amazing guitar and bass guitar player.
He is our newest band member and is a welcome addition to the group.
Born and Raised on two farms in Milan, Ohio, DeWayne is a state certified welder by trade. He also enjoys blacksmithing, radio control boats/airplanes and was a 39-year retired Civil War Re-enactor.
Music was and still is a passion beginning in 3rd grade. He enjoyed playing the drums during school and transitioned into the Banjo, Auto

"I absolutely LOVE the time I have with the members of the Praise Hymn Band", she said. "We are like family, and it is wonderful to spend time, spreading God's word through music and song with these talented musicians!".

Her other passions include spending time with friends & family, movies, learning and laughter. Her perfect date is April 25th.

Growing up, Annie found herself surrounded by music. Her parents, Tracie and DeWayne, were constantly playing different instruments and filling the house with beautiful music, which helped lead Annie to one of her passions.
During middle and high school, Annie played the trumpet in both concert and marching band settings. Later, she picked
Growing up, Annie found herself surrounded by music. Her parents, Tracie and DeWayne, were constantly playing different instruments and filling the house with beautiful music, which helped lead Annie to one of her passions.
During middle and high school, Annie played the trumpet in both concert and marching band settings. Later, she picked up a guitar and wanted to learn more about stringed instruments. Her love for playing the guitar has led her to learn other stringed instruments such as the mandolin and ukulele.
In her spare time, Annie enjoys working outside, camping, and spending time with family and friends and in her spare time is studying to get her pilots license. She is a Supervisor in the the ITS department at Bowling Green State University.
Growing up, Lisa was raised on a small family farm in Graytown, Ohio and since then, has moved to Oak Harbor.
She currently works as a biller/coder at Maumee Bay Family Practice. Lisa has a lot of interests, including sewing quilts and crafting, spending time with family and friends, and playing her AutoHarp and singing with her musical

Karen was in the band in the beginning, but due to other commitments had to leave. We miss her and her talents!
She will also have have a special place with our us and the band!
Randy is the guy you can call on in a pinch for that extra male vocal! And we certainly do appreciate it!
Sometimes you just have to call on backup and Kathy is just that! Thank you for being there when we need you!!
